10. Company Management

Configure your company profile, manage team members, and control permissions.


10.1 Company Profile

Your company profile is your public presence on the marketplace. Other fabricators and potential buyers see this information when viewing your listings.

Access: Go to Settings > Company Profile.

Verification Badge

Verified companies receive a badge on their profile, increasing trust with buyers. Verification may require:

  • Valid business registration
  • Phone number verification
  • Email verification

10.2 Team Members & Roles (Pro)

Add team members to collaborate on your Remnant Finder account:

  1. Go to Settings > Team.
  2. Tap + Invite Member.
  3. Enter their email address.
  4. Select a role:
Role Permissions
Owner Full access to everything, billing management, team management
Admin Full access except billing and ownership transfer
Member View access, can create pieces and quotes, limited editing
Fabricator Access to production-related features (fabrication, installation)
Sales Access to CRM, quotes, and client-facing features
  1. Tap Send Invite.

The invited user receives an email to join your company account.

Managing Team Members

  • Edit role — Change a member's permissions
  • Remove — Remove a member from your company
  • Resend invite — Resend the invitation email

10.3 Team Map (Pro)

Pro Feature

The Team Map requires an active Pro subscription.

See where your team members are in real time on an interactive map — useful for dispatching, route planning, and coordinating field work.

Access: Go to Team (from the Team screen, tap the Map icon in the app bar or select Team Map from the menu).

How It Works

  1. When a team member opens the Team Map screen, their device automatically starts sharing its location.
  2. When they leave the screen, sharing stops — location is only tracked while the map is open.
  3. All team members with known locations appear on the map as avatar markers.

Map Features

Feature Description
Live Location See each member's current position, updated in real time
Offline Status Members who are offline or have no recent location appear grayed out
Last Seen Each marker shows how long ago the member's location was reported
Tap to View Tap a marker to see the member's name, role, and last-seen time
Auto-Center The map automatically fits all team members on screen

Privacy

  • Location is shared only while the Team Map screen is open. Closing the screen stops sharing immediately.
  • The map shows the last known location for team members who have previously opened the map, even if they are not currently sharing.

10.4 Facilities (Pro)

If your business has multiple locations (warehouse, showroom, fabrication shop):

  1. Go to Settings > Facilities.
  2. Tap + Add Facility.
  3. Enter:
  4. Facility name
  5. Address
  6. Type (Warehouse, Showroom, Workshop, Office)
  7. Contact information
  8. Tap Save.

Pieces can be associated with specific facilities to help buyers know where the material is located.

GPS Coordinates & Map View

Each facility can store GPS coordinates for precise location tracking:

  1. Open a facility and tap Edit.
  2. The address is automatically geocoded, or you can manually adjust the pin on the map.
  3. Coordinates are used by the Daily Route Optimizer (see Calendar > Daily Route Optimization) and the Floor Plan satellite background.

Service Area Management

Define the geographic area your facility serves:

  1. Open a facility and go to the Service Area section.
  2. Set a radius (in miles or kilometers) from the facility's location.
  3. The service area appears on the map and is used for scheduling intelligence — activities are assigned to the nearest facility.

Floor Plan Editor

Each facility can have an interactive floor plan to visualize rack layouts and piece locations. See Managing Pieces > Floor Plan Editor for details.


10.5 Business Hours

Set your operating hours so buyers know when you are available:

  1. Go to Settings > Company Profile > Business Hours.
  2. For each day of the week:
  3. Toggle the day on (open) or off (closed).
  4. Set opening and closing times.
  5. Optionally add a lunch break period.
  6. Tap Save.

Business hours are displayed on your public company profile and piece listings.


10.6 Permissions (Pro)

Fine-tune what each team member can access:

  1. Go to Settings > Permissions.
  2. Configure access by feature area:

  1. Save the permission configuration.

10.7 Affiliate Program (Pro)

Pro Feature

The Affiliate Program requires an active Pro subscription.

Earn commissions by referring new fabricators to Remnant Finder.

Affiliate Dashboard

Access your affiliate hub from More > Affiliate Program:

Metric Description
Referral Link Your unique link to share with other fabricators
Total Referrals Number of fabricators who signed up via your link
Active Referrals Referrals who became paying Pro subscribers
Pending Earnings Commissions earned but not yet paid out
Total Earnings Lifetime commission earnings

Making Referrals

  1. Copy your referral link from the Affiliate Dashboard.
  2. Share it with other fabricators (email, text, social media).
  3. When someone signs up using your link and upgrades to Pro, you earn a commission.

Payouts

View and manage commission payouts from the Payouts tab on the Affiliate Dashboard. Payouts are processed according to the program terms.
